The agreement was formalized during the official visit of Mr. Venkateswara Vinay Kumar, Minister of Education and Social Welfare at the Embassy of India in Moscow, to Yoshkar-Ola, Republic of Mari El. This strategic partnership aims to introduce global best practices in medical training, foster academic mobility, and facilitate the exchange of medical knowledge between the two countries.
The collaboration was made possible with the active support of Rus Education, a trusted partner for Indian students pursuing MBBS in Russia. A major focus of the partnership will be improving English language proficiency, enabling students and professionals to participate effectively in international medical environments and collaborative research projects. The program will also provide participants with opportunities to visit Max Healthcare’s clinical facilities in India, gaining firsthand exposure to advanced medical practices and learning directly from some of India’s top medical practitioners.
The MoU signing ceremony was attended by several high-ranking officials from the Republic of Mari El, including Deputy Chairman of the Government and Minister of Culture, Press, and National Affairs Mr. Konstantin Ivanov, and Minister of Health Mr. Vladimir Gladnev.
