  • MOVIN enters India’s healthcare logistics sector with specialised cold-chain services.
  • New vertical to support pharma, med-tech, diagnostics, and labs with real-time monitoring.
  • First rollout to cover 50 strategic markets across India.

MOVIN Express Pvt. Ltd., the logistics joint venture between InterGlobe Enterprises and UPS, has launched MOVIN Healthcare, marking its official entry into India’s fast-growing healthcare logistics sector. The new vertical aims to meet rising demand for reliable, compliant, and temperature-sensitive delivery services across pharmaceuticals, medical technology, diagnostics, and laboratory operations.

At the launch event, Grégory Goba-Blé, Director of MOVIN Express and Head of UPS India, said the healthcare sector requires precision, speed, and strict compliance. He added that MOVIN Healthcare will offer end-to-end domestic and international solutions tailored to the sector’s time-critical needs.

India’s healthcare express logistics market, valued at $5.5-7.5 billion, is expanding rapidly due to growing healthcare consumption and the need for reliable cold-chain systems. MOVIN Healthcare plans to address this with specialised temperature-controlled packaging that supports refrigerated (2-8°C), ambient (15-25°C), and dry-ice-frozen (-80 to -20°C) shipments. These capabilities will be crucial for vaccines, pharmaceuticals, clinical trial materials, and other sensitive products.

A key service offering will be Next Flight Out (NFO) for urgent shipments, backed by MOVIN’s strong network and 24x7 control tower for real-time tracking. The company will also ensure priority handling, specialised training for staff, and full carrier insurance for customer protection.

The first phase of MOVIN Healthcare will cover 50 strategic markets, with nationwide expansion planned. The company will operate under its MOVIN Quality Assurance framework, which includes strict safety protocols and proactive CAPA processes.

Goba-Blé said MOVIN’s long-term goal is to become India’s most trusted healthcare logistics partner, adding that the timing is ideal to strengthen support for the country’s healthcare ecosystem.
