A graduate of Mumbai's Government Dental College and Hospital, Dr. Prashant also earned his Master's in Orthodontics from Ahmedabad's Government Dental College and Hospital. His passion for orthodontics led him to obtain Diplomate status with the Indian Board of Ortho-dontics in 2005. His zeal to stay abreast of the latest trends, advancements, and technologies in orthodontics and special interest in treating TM joint disorders has taken him across borders. He has also completed a Mini Residency Program in Advanced Orthodontics at Yonsei University, Seoul, Korea.
Dr. Prashant is a firm believer in interdisciplinary dentistry and dental aesthetics and emphasizes holistic treatment keeping overall oral health in mind. He's not just a practitioner; he's a teacher too. Dr. Prashant has been a faculty member at dental schools across Mumbai, passing on his knowledge and skills to the next generation. He's written articles for indexed journals and presented papers at national and international conferences. Also, was a convener of the Bombay Orthodontic Study Group, organizing camps and programs to educate orthodontists and a wider audience.
He explains, “Orthodontics wasn’t a career choice, it was a calling to make an impact. It is not just science but also an art that enhances patient's confidence and self-esteem. Patients walk in with myriad concerns like protruding teeth, misaligned

In 2003, he was honored with the Rashtriya Ratan Award by the Global Economic Council in New Delhi. Smiles N Faces has also won several recognitions from Famdent Excellence in Dentistry Awards. The Best Interiors of Dental Clinic Award recognized the clinic's aesthetic appeal. The Best Upcoming New Practice Award in 2016 when Smiles N Faces just shifted from Andheri East to Vile Parle West. Last but not least, the Best Clinic for Orthodontics Award.
Looking ahead, Dr. Prashant has ambitious plans for Smiles N Faces. He wants to continue offering the best possible care for patients at his clinic. He is looking to expand his team and put more work into treatments for TMJ Disorders, because this progressively debilitating issue if not treated well can cause long-term pain and functional problems. Making a real difference and providing lasting relief has been his greatest milestones. He aims to expand the clinic's reach by opening new branches across Mumbai.
