Soothe Healthcare has partnered with Japan-based Osaki Medical Corporation to bring a range of feminine hygiene, maternity, and baby care products to the Indian market. The two companies have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to introduce Osaki’s specialized products, marking the Japanese firm’s official entry into India.

Under the agreement, Osaki Medical will roll out products focused on women’s hygiene, postpartum care, and baby wellness. In the initial phase, the products will be imported from Japan. Both companies plan to start local manufacturing at a later stage, as demand and scale grow.

The partnership aims to address rising awareness and demand for safe, high-quality women’s care products in India. According to industry estimates, India’s feminine hygiene market is expected to grow at over 15 percent annually, supported by a population of more than 700 million women.

Sahil Dharia, Founder and CEO of Soothe Healthcare, said the collaboration brings together Osaki’s product expertise and Soothe’s deep distribution reach. He added that the partnership aims to raise standards in women’s care by offering innovative and reliable solutions to Indian consumers.

Masao Osaki, President of Osaki Medical Corporation, said India represents a high-potential market for women’s hygiene and maternity care products. He noted that working with Soothe Healthcare provides a strong local partner with established market access.

Soothe Healthcare will leverage its pan-India distribution network, which spans more than 2.1 lakh retail outlets, including pharmacies, defense canteens, modern trade stores, and e-commerce platforms. This will ensure wide availability of Osaki’s products across urban and semi-urban markets.

The development comes shortly after Soothe Healthcare raised  Rs 45 crore from existing investors and a group of ultra-high-net-worth family offices, strengthening its expansion plans in the healthcare and personal care segments.
