Philips, a global leader in health technology, has expanded its collaboration with Nicolab, an AI-powered stroke care company, to improve stroke diagnosis and treatment in India. The partnership aims to enhance clinical workflows, enable faster decision-making, and improve access to quality stroke care, particularly in underserved regions.

With 1.8 million new stroke cases reported annually, India faces a growing health challenge where every minute is critical. The partnership combines Philips’ advanced imaging and image-guided therapy platform, Azurion, with Nicolab’s AI-based StrokeViewer, creating a connected system designed to reduce treatment delays and improve patient outcomes.

StrokeViewer, India’s first cloud-based CT Perfusion (CTP) analysis solution with regulatory clearance, delivers instant AI-generated results, centralised patient data, and real-time collaboration among specialists. Integrated with Philips Azurion, it allows clinicians to view diagnostic scans, AI insights, and treatment plans in one place, helping determine patient eligibility for interventional care faster and more precisely.
