Mumbai based Fredun Pharmaceuticals Ltd has stepped into uncharted territory with the launch of Snacky Jain, a plant based pet food line that aligns with Jain dietary principles. Free from meat, root vegetables, and all animal derived ingredients, the product is designed to deliver complete nutrition while respecting religious beliefs.

The pet food is formulated under Fredun’s flagship brand Freossi, and developed in-house through extensive R&D. The company claims Snacky Jain supports digestion, immunity, bone health, and energy in pets,  all while using only natural, plant-based ingredients.

Initially, the product will be available in six cities through veterinary clinics, online marketplaces, and Fredun’s retail partners. The company plans to expand gradually into pet care markets like Ahmedabad, Pune, Bengaluru, and Delhi.

Manufacturing takes place at Fredun’s WHO-GMP-certified facility in Palghar, ensuring compliance with global safety and quality standards.

Fredun Medhora, Managing Director at Fredun Pharmaceuticals Ltd, said, “Snacky Jain is part of our vision to create a 360° pet wellness ecosystem”. He added, “We’re combining science-backed nutrition with religious sensitivities to meet evolving consumer needs”.
