This fascination led him to pursue a DM (Doctorate) in Neurology at the esteemed All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. He cleared Specialty Certificate Examination in Neurology from the Royal College of the UK, further distinguishing himself. Notably, he also became a Fellow of the European Board of Neurology (FEBN) and a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, Glasgow (FRCP).

His journey, both as an individual and a neurologist, has been marked by several significant milestones. On a personal level, he attributes his success to his family, particularly his parents and wife (Dr. Shweta Mendiratta- Gynecologist), who stood by his side throughout his journey.
