Dr Smruti Bhonsle , Founder Pain is not just a symptom, it’s a complex experience that touches every part of a person’s life. It can be physical, yes, but it often carries emotional, and psychological weight. That’s why true pain relief goes beyond pills and procedures. Managing pain in totality means addressing not only the body but also the mind and soul.

It involves combining medical treatments, such as nerve blocks, regenerative therapies with cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and emotional support. A holistic approach views pain as a story, a story written in nerves, stress, memories, and sometimes silence. This integrative model empowers patients to actively participate in their own healing journey, giving them tools to manage pain, not just endure it.

Founded by Dr Smruti Bhonsle, a seasoned anesthesiologist and a pain management specialist with over three decades of international experience, Dr Smruti Bhonsle’s Pain Management Clinic offers a multimodal and holistic approach to treating pain. Addressing Urban Challenges

Operating in a dynamic urban landscape like Mumbai, Dr Smruti’s pain management practice is uniquely structured to meet the city’s logistical and lifestyle challenges. “One of the biggest hurdles is patient consistency, many patients miss follow-ups due to long travel distances or busy schedules, leading to interruptions in care.

To overcome this, we have adopted a multi-location model, offering consultations across several reputed hospitals throughout the city”, she informs. To further improve the continuity of care, Dr Smruti also provides online video consultations, an invaluable service during Mumbai’s monsoons or for patients with mobility issues.

The patient was emotionally overwhelmed to the point of wanting to give up her baby, believing she could no longer cope.
