Operational Excellence
Sitaram has a production area of 10,000 sq.ft. that strictly adheres to GMP and ISO standards. It has license to manufacture more than 500 medicines which covers most of the classical medicines and patent formulations. Production area features all industrial facilities to manufacture different forms of medicines like kashayam, arishtam, gulika, tablet, oil, lehyam, ghrutham etc. This includes automatic stirring pans, drug boilers of varied capacity, forced circulated evaporator, oil processing tanks, grinding area and fermentation tanks. Each stage of production is monitored by experts for quality assurance. Filling sections are equipped with fully automatic and upgraded machinery. Arishtam, kashayam and lehyam automatic filling machines ensure highly accurate, consistent, reliable, hygienic and volumetric fill. These machines ensure versatility, ease of use and lower operator interaction. Sitaram has a well equipped tablet and capsule manufacturing facility to produce more than 60 million tablets per year that includes kashayam tablets, multiherbal tablets, soft gel capsules and vegan capsules.

Eyes on RnD
Sitaram has set up an R&D laboratory with several modern sophisticated instruments required for development of Ayurveda formulations, Cosmetic products and Nutraceuticals. All the raw materials and finished products undergo stringent quality control tests to ascertain the conformance to the specification. Only raw materials approved by the Q.C. are permitted to be used in the preparation of the Ayurvedic products. Similarly finished products conforming to the specification are released to the market for the consumers. R& D group is continuously conducting experiments for the improvement of process and for the development of new products. It has already marketed more than 50 products developed in its laboratory.
