Stryker Launches Tornier Shoulder Arthroplasty Portfolio in India

Stryker has unveiled the Tornier shoulder arthroplasty lineup in India, debuting its inaugural Tornier product, the Perform Humeral Stem, during the Shoulder Conclave event in Pune. Aman Rishi, Vice President and General Manager, Stryker India said, "The precise and personalized approach offered by Tornier Perform shoulder implants and Blueprint will redefine shoulder care and set Stryker apart in the shoulder market in India. We are excited about introducing these products to India and bringing our mission of making healthcare better to life".

Elevated by Blueprint planning software and the Tornier Perform anatomic and reverse glenoid, the new Tornier Perform Humeral Stem offers clinical solutions for the simplest to most complex shoulder arthroplasty cases. It is intended for use in anatomic, reverse and hemiarthroplasty of the shoulder. It also allows for conversion from an anatomic to a reverse shoulder prosthesis in the case of revision.

Crafted with four collar diameters and offered in various lengths, the Tornier Perform Humeral Stem is meticulously designed to enhance humeral fit, providing surgeons with both flexibility and performance options. The emphasis on smaller stem choices makes it particularly well-suited for addressing the distinctive challenges posed by smaller patient anatomies.

The Tornier Perform Humeral Stem seamlessly integrates with the complete range of standard and augmented Perform glenoid options, catering to both anatomic and reversed procedures to accommodate each patient's distinct anatomy. Surgeons can leverage blueprint planning software to meticulously strategize their performance cases ahead of time, offering real-time, precise virtual surgery that enhances confidence before entering the operating room.
