KIMS in 700 Crore MoU with Wipro GE Healthcare

Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences(KIMS), one of the leading corporate healthcare providers in India, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding worth up to ₹700 crore with Wipro GE Healthcare to strengthen KIMS's medical technology and services over the next three years.
As a total healthcare technology partner, Wipro GE Healthcare will provide new products and service to the existing equipment in all branches of the hospital under the MoU. The agreements include PET CTs, SPEC CTs, Cath labs, MRIs, CT scanners, ultrasounds, and critical care devices.
Chairman & Managing Director of KIMS, Dr Bhaskar Rao elaborated on the ability of the institution to offer integrated services in terms of affordability and quality. He pointed out that the locations where Wipro GE Healthcare's deep presence exists and their strong service network can be resourced to leverage KIMS's growth in Southern and Western India leading to an overall betterment of patient care.
Chaitanya Sarawate, MD of Wipro GE Healthcare, said that KIMS takes the lead in visioning and transforming access to healthcare through technological advancement. He added that this initiative well aligns with the core objective of making community health better around the globe.
