IIT Delhi to Start Research Master's Program in Healthcare Tech

The Competency-Based Medical Education(CBME) at IIT Delhi has announced a focused Master of Science (Research) course in 'Healthcare Technology'. This will be effective from January 2025. It is aimed to reduce the gap between medicine and engineering, designed for professionals in the medical and allied clinical sectors. Application forms are available on the official website of IIT Delhi.
As stated in the recent IIT press release, the program will plunge the students into cutting-edge research projects involving a wide array of areas such as precision medicine, biomaterials, medical implants, medical imaging, rehabilitation, biomimetic models, and translational medicine.
The curriculum is designed to inculcate critical thinking, sharp the problem-solving skills, and provides a deep understanding of research methodologies. This methodology also ensures that the graduates are fully equipped to deal with the more complex challenges of the health sector and also enhances the entrepreneurial skills. Such a program also helps students to join IIT Delhi for their Ph.D.
