IISER & AIIMS Collaborates to Enhancing Academic & Cancer Research

Two of Central India's premier institutions, IISER Bhopal (under the Ministry of Education) and AIIMS Bhopal (under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing academic collaboration and innovation. The signing took place at IISER Bhopal, hosted by Prof. Gobardhan Das, Director of IISER Bhopal, alongside Prof. (Dr.) Ajai Singh, Executive Director of AIIMS Bhopal. The event was attended by Deans and senior faculty members from both institutions, reflecting a strong commitment to this partnership.
The MoU will create opportunities for collaborative research and the development of joint courses, with an initial focus on training programs and certificate courses. This collaboration will significantly enhance the scope of academic and research efforts, particularly in key areas such as cancer research, molecular studies, immunology, infectious diseases, and the development of new drugs and drug delivery systems.
