
Finland Brings Cutting Edge Healthcare Innovations to India

- Finnish healthcare delegation to visit India from 15-19 September 2025

A high level delegation of ten Finnish healthcare companies is set to visit India for the first time from 15 to 19 September 2025. The delegation will be engaging with leading hospitals, government bodies, and healthcare organizations in New Delhi and Mumbai to explore collaborative opportunities in India’s growing healthcare sector.
The participating companies represent a wide range of healthcare specializations, including advanced diagnostics (Nightingale Health, Tezted, Danvantar Biophotonics), AI powered digital health solutions (Metabite), biopharmaceuticals and biologics manufacturing (Paras Biopharmaceuticals, Elomatic), infection control and hospital infrastructure (Halton, Serres, Cleamix), and healthcare workforce solutions (Viiom).
Kimmo Lahdevirta, Ambassador of Finland to India, emphasized the shared vision of building smart, inclusive, and sustainable healthcare systems. He noted that this visit marks a new chapter in healthcare collaboration, where Finnish innovation meets India's scale and ambition.
Finland is globally recognized for its high quality, cost efficient healthcare system, supported by a highly digitalized infrastructure. Nearly all patient data in Finland is stored electronically, allowing secure and streamlined healthcare delivery. The country’s deep investment in research and development has led to numerous breakthroughs in diagnostics, medical devices, and health data analytics, many of which are now used globally.

Sonali Saigal Kapur, Senior Advisor at Business Finland, highlighted the strong synergy between the two nations and the growing interest Finnish companies have shown in the Indian market. This delegation signifies a major step towards deeper engagement and collaboration in healthcare innovation.
The visit is being organized by Business Finland, the Embassy of Finland in New Delhi, and the Consulate General of Finland in Mumbai.
