Bennett University, renowned for its multidisciplinary education, joined hands with Max Healthcare, a leader in clinical excellence, to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that marks a significant milestone in healthcare education in India. This collaboration will introduce the country’s first-ever industry-linked Postgraduate Diploma program in Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Healthcare, set to commence in September 2025.

This innovative 1-year hybrid program aims to equip healthcare, life sciences, and technology professionals with the skills required to lead in the AI-driven future of medicine. With a curriculum tailored to meet evolving industry demands, the program opens doors to emerging career paths such as AI Research Scientist, Medical Data Scientist, Healthcare AI Product Manager, and Health Data Analyst.

The MoU signing ceremony was graced by key figures from Max Healthcare, including Dr. Sandeep Budhiraja, Group Medical Director, and Dr. Vinitaa Malhotra Jha, Director of Academics & Research. Their presence underscored Max Healthcare’s commitment to bridging academic innovation with clinical practice, ensuring that the new program delivers both theoretical rigor and practical relevance.

Designed to offer a unique blend of academic and clinical training, the diploma program promises dual mentorship involving Bennett University’s distinguished faculty and clinical experts from Max Healthcare. Students will gain firsthand exposure to real-world clinical workflows, hospital AI systems, and live patient data through guaranteed hands-on training at Max Healthcare hospitals. The program’s hybrid structure balances online lectures and on-campus immersions, offering a comprehensive learning experience adaptable for working professionals.

The academic journey is divided into two six-month phases: the first focuses on foundational coursework covering AI-based medical imaging, predictive diagnostics, and health data analytics, while the second emphasizes experiential learning through projects and clinical immersion. Additional program highlights include hospital visits, panel discussions with industry leaders, and a capstone project that simulates live healthcare scenarios ensuring graduates emerge ready to apply AI solutions in complex healthcare environments.
