
Aster DM to Build Rs 580 Crore Multi-Speciality Hospital in Bengaluru

Aster DM Healthcare has announced an investment of Rs 580 crore ($66.1 million) to set up a 500-bed multi-speciality hospital in Yeshwanthpur, Bengaluru. The facility will be the healthcare group's fifth in the city, expanding Aster’s total bed capacity in Bengaluru to 2,580.
Scheduled to become operational in the second half of FY 2028-2029, the hospital will span a built-up area of approximately 500,000 square feet. It will follow a built-to-suit model, reflecting Aster’s asset-light expansion strategy.
The group has entered into a long-term 30-year lease agreement, with renewal options, with Kemwell Pvt. Ltd. for the development of the facility.
