Aster DM Healthcare has announced an investment of Rs 220 crore to build Hyderabad's largest women and children’s hospital. Spanning 3 lakh square feet, the 300-bed facility will provide advanced medical care, specializing in obstetrics, gynecology, and neonatal and pediatric services. The first phase is expected to be operational by mid-FY26.

Equipped with cutting-edge medical technology, including a Cath lab, MRI, CT, ECMO, and IVUS, the hospital will offer comprehensive maternal and pediatric care. It will feature 100 critical care beds, 10 modular operating theatres, luxury birthing suites, and round-the-clock emergency services, aiming to set new standards in healthcare delivery for women and children in Hyderabad.

Azad Moopen, Founder and Chairman of Aster DM Healthcare, highlighted the hospital’s role in addressing the growing healthcare needs of women and children in South India. "The Aster Women & Children Hospital will offer a wide range of super-specialty services, setting new benchmarks in obstetric and pediatric care", he said.

The hospital is part of Aster DM Healthcare’s broader strategy to expand its capacity by adding 2,000 beds across India by FY27. Ongoing projects include Aster Capital in Trivandrum and Aster MIMS in Kasargod, with plans to expand into Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh. The company has allocated Rs 1,200 crore for its expansion, reinforcing its position as one of India’s top three integrated healthcare providers.

This initiative is aimed at improving access to high-quality care and enhancing medical outcomes for Hyderabad and nearby regions.
