
AI and Real World Evidence Driving Healthcare Innovation at RWEsearch 2025

The RWEsearch & Health Innovation Summit 2025, organized by Healthark, brought together over 2,800 participants from 13 countries, including top healthcare experts, innovators, and decision makers. Held across three days, the event focused on the powerful role of AI and real world evidence (RWE) in shaping the future of healthcare in India and around the world.
The summit kicked off with an inaugural address by Shri D. Sridhar Babu, Minister of IT and Industries, Government of Telangana, who called it a timely gathering during a period of rapid healthcare transformation. “This platform is essential for conversations around RWE, AI, and healthcare innovation”, he said.
Discussions spanned critical topics like AI enabled clinical trials, patient centric data, interoperability, and regulatory frameworks. Sessions highlighted how RWE and AI are helping healthcare systems improve data accuracy, speed up drug development, and enhance patient recruitment and outcomes.
A key panel on ‘Demystifying AI for the Next Generation of GCCs’ featured leaders from Novo Nordisk, Bristol Myers Squibb, Roche, and Thermo Fisher Scientific. They emphasized a shift in Global Capability Centres (GCCs) from traditional headcount based operations to knowledge and impact driven models, thanks to AI and automation.
Dr. Purav Gandhi, Founder & CEO of Healthark, and Mr. Sudeep Krishna, Co-Founder & President, guided the event alongside co-chairs Janak Joshi and Julie Krommenhoek. Together, they curated 25 sessions on everything from AI in research to decentralized clinical trials.
