Separator
ACT, a philanthropic organization based in India, and Global Health Labs, Inc. (GH Labs), an international non-profit funded by Gates Ventures, have announced their collaboration. They will work together to identify digital and medical technology innovators in India and support the development and scaling of their digital health and medical technology innovations. The ultimate goal of this collaboration is to improve access to quality and affordable healthcare for underserved populations in India's public healthcare system.

Access to quality and affordable healthcare remains a significant challenge in low-resourced areas of India due to inadequate infrastructure and a shortage of healthcare professionals. The objective of this collaboration is to leverage cutting-edge healthcare technology to bridge this gap and enhance the quality of care in primary healthcare settings.

Says Krisha Mathur, Director, ACT For Health, "Our collaboration with GH Labs will focus on bringing innovative health-tech solutions to the last mile, where they have the highest potential for impacting the underserved. The goal is to make a meaningful impact on the public healthcare system in a way that bridges the accessibility to affordability gap on quality healthcare for Bharat".

ACT For Health and GH Labs have joined forces to provide technology assistance, perform evaluations in public health settings, and investigate ways to expand Indian health-tech innovations. Their ultimate objective is to make a significant difference in communities where access to quality healthcare is a major obstacle.
